With the kitchen still in disarray from the dinner party, we went out to dinner. A new Thai restaurant has opened in space that was previously occupied by the Black Horse Pub & Grill. It is in the same strip mall as Table 260 and Wasabi Sushi & Hibachi Grill. Chantara Thai Cuisine is located at 2745 Elk Grove Boulevard. The phone number is 916-684-1499.
We had pot stickers, mild green curry, pineapple rice and Pad Thai noddles. While not speculator, the food was solid. It is definitely on the visit of places where we will go back.
