With most of the group catching very early flights back to California, I purposely planned a more leisurely day. Jack and I slept in, I ran on the treadmill and we had a light breakfast at the hotel.
After checking out of the room, we went into downtown Tempe and wandered around. We located one Arizona Historical Marker and spent some time in Borders finding a book for Jack to read on the flight home.
From there, we headed to the airport and dropped off the rental car. We had an uneventful flight back and were in Sacramento before 4:00 p.m. Sharon picked us up at the airport.
