ugh... Jack played in his fifth game of the 2009 CSD Flag Football season. Although the Outlaws were playing in a tournament in Tracy, we had him play flag football as we were racing to get ready for the fall dinner party. The Quick Silver played the Panthers.
Jack played offense in the first half. He had three nice receptions and two long runs. On the second run, he had turned the corner on the defense was free up the sideline. I don't think that anyone was going to catch him, but his flags fell on. Although this seems to happen to other kids all the time, it is the first in the three years of flag football that I can remember this happening to him. Jack was not pleased. Although they moved the ball up and down the field, they were not able to score and trailed by the score of 19 to 0 at halftime.
In the second half, Jack played defense. He had one interception.
The Quick Silver got stream rolled. The final score was 39 to 6. The Panthers just had more skilled players and team speed. The Quick Silver's record in games that Jack has played is 2 wins and 3 losses.
