2011 SJE Summer Basketball Game #5

Over the last few years, Jack has literally played hundreds of organized competitive baseball, flag football, basketball and soccer games. I rarely rant about the officiating. After the first game in the SJE summer league last week, I mentioned that the refereeing was terrible. The SEAS Eagles had the same set of referees again and they were horrible.

The SEAS Eagles played their fifth game of the summer league. They played SJE for the third time in two weeks. Apparently, they are having trouble with two of the teams in the six team league fielding enough players.

Jack struggled with his shot. He had 3 points on 0 for 4 from two point range, 0 for 3 from three point range and 3 for 4 from the free throw line. Jack added 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 turnover.

With SEAS leading by the score of 47 to 42 with about 1:30 left in the game, the referees won the game and the Eagles lost by the score of 49 to 47. The box score is here.

Their record for the summer league is now 2 wins and 3 losses. The game log is here.
