On Day 48, I rode 19.6 miles across Wyoming. Starting from the western bank of the North Platte River at Bessemer Bend, I rode along Bessemer Bend Road. Merging on to Highway 220, I headed towards Casper. I turned off on Southwest Wyoming Boulevard and stopped briefly at the Fort Casper Pony Express Station [N 42° 50.154 W 106° 22.270]. Heading out of town on the Eastern Yellowstone Highway, I finished the ride at the corner of Interstate 20 and Highway 256.
