After watching the first half on the treadmill, Jack and I watched the second half of the NCAA basketball championship game. Trading 3s in the last eleven seconds, Villanova beat North Carolina by the score of 77 to 74.
Behind Ed Pinckney, Villanova last won the national championship in 1985. Pinckney played for the Sacramento Kings during the first two years that Larkin and I had season tickets (1987/1988 and 1988/1989).
Jack, Sharon and I walked the Villanova campus last summer.
Although Jack won't be going there, Villanova is one of the colleges where he applied and has been accepted.
