It was announced on August 1, 2025, that the third season of "And Just Like That..." would be the show's last. The news was shared by showrunner Michael Patrick King, who said that while writing the final episode, it became clear to him that it would be a "wonderful place to stop."
In its final season, the series explores new paths for its core characters. I found season three very uneven. I said that I found the ending of season two odd and unsatisfying. I feel the same about the ending of season three. I didn't find the final episode of season three to be a "wonderful place to stop."
