2025 Kings versus Hornets

Larkin and I went to the Sacramento Kings versus Charlotte Hornets NBA Basketball game. Larkin got some extra tickets from the Kings for seats 7 and 8 in row D of section 126.

With the Kings leading by 20 points at halftime, the Hornets got within 11 points in the middle of the third quarter. From there, the Kings outscored the Hornets 60 to 29 and won the game by the score of 130 to 88.

Miles Bridges was the high scorer for the Hornets. He had 23 points on 9 for 19 from the field, 4 for 8 from three and 1 for 2 from the free throw line.

Zach LaVine was the high scorer for the Kings. He had 42 points on 16 for 19 from the field, 8 for 9 from three and 2 for 3 from the free throw line.

A few random notes. I was not impressed with LaMello Ball. Markelle Fultz played eighteen minutes for the Kings; he was the first overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft. Coach Doug Christie emptied the bench in fourth quarter.

With 25 games left in the season, the Kings are sitting in tenth in the Western Conference and in last play-in position. The Kings have 3 wins and 2 losses in games that I have seen in the 2024-2025 season.
