2024 Fall Dinner Party Menu

The format of the menu for this year's dinner party was inspired by the menu from Merchant Roots. Rather than a folded 8 1/2 by 11 sheet, we went to a 4 by 11 size on heavier card stock with the menu on the front and a picture of Bergen on the back. We will probably shift to this format in future years. The picture behind the menu on the front was taken at the Stilheim Hotel. I took the picture of the back on the first night we were in Bergen.

A Bit of France in the Fall

Here is Sharon's menu from Saturday night's dinner party. The only thing that she was less than satisfied with were the two red wines that we served with the foie gras and the duck. We decanted both of them, but Sharon felt that they had an industrial taste to them.
