Christmas Ornament 2024

2024 marked the 30th Christmas that Sharon and I have celebrated together. I have bought Sharon an ornament for the tree every year since that first Christmas.

This year, I bought her one ornament in Bergen and one ornament in Stockholm to commemorate our Viking Homelands trip. I got her a third ornament at the Postojna Caves when we were on the Crossroads of the Adriatic trip.

Christmas Ornament 2023

2023 marked the 29th Christmas that Sharon and I have celebrated together. I have bought Sharon an ornament for the tree every year since that first Christmas.

This year, I brought her one ornament in Sterling to commemorate our trip to Scotland and another one in Madaba as part of our trip to the Middle East.

Christmas Ornament 2022

2022 marked the 28th Christmas that Sharon and I have celebrated together. I have bought Sharon an ornament for the tree every year since that first Christmas.

This year, I brought her one ornament in Santorini and another one in Athens to commemorate our trip to Greece and Turkey.

Christmas Ornament 2021

2021 marked the 27th Christmas that Sharon and I have celebrated together. I have bought Sharon an ornament for the tree every year since that first Christmas.

This year, I bought three ornaments: two ornaments during our trip to Chincoteague Island and one to commemorate our 25th Wedding Anniversary.

2020 marked the 26th Christmas that Sharon and I have celebrated together. I have bought Sharon an ornament for the tree every year since that first Christmas.

This year, I bought two ornaments to commemorate Jack's graduation from Georgetown University.

2019 marked the 25th Christmas that Sharon and I have celebrated together. I have bought Sharon an ornament for the tree every year since that first Christmas.

This year, I bought one ornament in the gift shop at Stonehenge and two ornaments in Harrods.

This year, I bought her an ornament at the Butchart Gardens during our trip to Vancouver Island.

Like last year, I got her two ornaments this year. I bought her one of the Mount Washington Resort when we were there on our fall trip.

I picked up a second one at the Norman Rockwell Museum.

In July of 2012, we spent two plus weeks in Italy. I brought this ornament while we were wandering through Vernazza waiting for the train to Monterosso.

Christmas Ornament 1996

I have bought Sharon an ornament for the tree every year since the first Christmas we celebrated together. This posting completes the series of sixteen ornaments stretching from 1995 to 2010.

Unlike most of the others, this ornament has a lot less significant. I had given Sharon a sheep ornament for Christmas in 1995. Doing some last minute Christmas shopping, I wanted to buy her another ornament and this wolf totem caught my eye.

I have bought Sharon an ornament for the tree every year since the first Christmas we celebrated together. In 1997, Sharon and I celebrated our first anniversary with a diving trip to Grand Cayman. I brought this ornament while we were wandering through the downtown.

I have bought Sharon an ornament for the tree every year since the first Christmas we celebrated together. When we first started dating, Sharon talked about wanting to own sheep. From 1996 to 2000, we raised sheep and goats in Shingle Springs.

Christmas Ornament 1999

Wandering through the Monterey Aquarium, Sharon was fasincated by the ocean sunfish in the outer bay tank. When she wasn't looking, I brought her a sunfish christmas ornament in the gift shop.
