Up fairly early, Jack and I headed down to the work-out room at the hotel. I ran on the treadmill, while Jack worked out on the Stairmaster and played his gameboy.
As we finished up, Wallen and Vic came back from their runs. A group adjourned to the hot tub.
After a late breakfast, we headed to Phoenix Municipal Stadium to see the Oakland A's play the Milwaukee Brewers. This was the A's home opener. On the strength of a strong second inning the Brewers won by a score of a 5 to 1.
After the game, we headed back to the hotel and spent a couple of hours in and around the pool and the hot tub. Jack spent most of this time jumping into the pool seeing how many twists he could do.
Doug Moore caught up with us in the late afternoon and we headed to ASU to see Sun Devils play the Auburn Tigers in a night college baseball game. With ASU leading 8 to 0 in the five inning, Jack decided he as done. I carried him back to the room on my shoulders and put him to bed.
