I met Snipes, Tomasin, Mikey and Mikey’s friend Mike at the Yard House in DOCO for an early dinner [Poke Salad]. Afterwards, we walked to Sutter Health Park to see the Sacramento River Cats verus El Paso Chihuahuas AAA Baseball Game.
With the score tied 4 to 4 in the bottom of the seventh, Bryce Eldridge hit a two-run homer to right. The River Cats went on to win the game by the score of 6 to 5. Sean Hjelle (4-1) pitched the last 2 2/3s innings and got the win.
I was shocked at how few people there were at the game. As we walked over the Tower Bridge and up to the east entrance of the park, there was no one. The box score said that the attendance was 2,341. There couldn't have been more than 500 people in the park!
