At Newell Open Space Preserve

Sharon and I hiked at the Newell Open Space Preserve. We covered 5.9 miles in two and a half hours. Climbing steadily in the first half of the hike, we gained 748 feet of elevation.

We hiked up to the Lynch Canyon Open Space where we hiked last March. We took a side trip up the Pairie Ridge Trail in Lynch Canyon. We stopped for a late lunch at the picnic tables at the junction the North and South Loop Trails. Sharon said that she enjoyed hking in Lynch Canyon more...
