At the end of December, I finished reading Crichton's State of Fear. The book argues in part that we do not know enough to make sweeping statements about where the global environment is going.
I ran across an article today that claims we are on a countdown to a global catastrophe. In as little as 10 years, or even less, their report indicates, the point of no return with global warming may be reached. After having read Crichton's book, I have to admit that I am skeptical of the science behind these claims.
