iPod Nano

I bought a 1GB iPod shuffle when they were first introduced. Paired with an armband, it is perfect for running. I also occasionally use it in the car.

The iPod Shuffle either plays all of its music randomly or staight through; there are no other controls. Over time, I have found myself lusting after the iPod Mini that I got Sharon. It would be nice to be able to build specific playlists to listen to while running and download podcasts to listen to in the car.

When the iPod Nano was announced last week, I decided to order one with an armband. I was pleasantly surprised to find that iTunes would let me connect both the Shuffle and the Nano to my music library; I was expecting to be able to connect only one of the two.
