Raymond Jacob Rohwer passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at his residence on the morning of May 17, 2024.
Raymond was born on September 29, 1930 at Sutter Hospital, California to the late Jacob and Gwendolyn Rohwer. Raymond was a graduate of Dixon High School in 1948. He was married to his high school sweetheart, Ann Elizabeth Prather in 1952 until her passing in 2014.
A Korean War veteran, he served 20 years in the United States Navy until his retirement in 1970 as a Chief Petty Officer Aviation Machinist. Raymond was an avid baseball fan and a San Francisco Giants faithful.
Raymond is survived by his daughters, Patricia Hamrick (Gene), Susan Parker (Steve), Barbara Alvares (Mike) and Cathy Frame (Tim); grandchildren and great grandchildren, Bryan, Cathy, Julie, Cristy, Erin, Eileen and Faith; his two brothers, Wally and Jim. He is also survived by numerous extended family and a host of friends. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Ann.
