2005 Fall Dinner Party

Going back a number of years [2004, 2003, 2002], we have had an ambitious fall dinner party. This year, we had the Bells, Cunninghams, Gainsleys, and Larkins for dinner. Sharon served a great dinner including: a fig appetizer paired with a 2004 Inognito Viognier; butternut squash paired with a 2003 Saint-Esprit Delas; and rack of lamb, broccolini, and tomato paired with a 2003 Craggy Range Pinot Noir. For desert, she served pumpkin cheesecake paired with a port. The weather was so nice that the group ended up outside in the backyard after dinner. We had a great time with the last groups not leaving until just before midnight.
