Last September, Sharon thought it would fun to put some nests in the cages. Immediately, the pair of Society Finches started building a nest and laid five eggs. The eggs hatched in October and by December the five new babys were as big as the parents.
As a result, we now had eleven finches. We have been trying to give some of the finches away. Sharon's brother Tim's family came by and took two of the Society Finches for their youngest daughter.
