Jack played in his twelfth game of the 2007 baseball season against the Twins. Joe, one of kids in his class, plays on the Twins. I was in San Francisco for a meeting and missed the game. It was fun to talk to him on phone and get a summary of the game.
At the plate, Jack went two for three. He grounded out to the pitcher, doubled into center with two RBIs and singled to the second baseman. He stretched the third at bat into a triple with aggressive base running.
Jack played five innings at short stop and made several nice plays.
Leading 9 to 7 in the top of the six inning, his team lost by a score of 10 to 9. Their record is now 4 wins and 8 losses.
Jack got a golden ball for his performance.
