Monday marked a year since I officially retired. I am really enjoying retirement! My original goals for retirement are here; they still fit.
As Nooter said, it has been a year of lots of miles and lost golf balls. There has been some fantastic trips, including Almanor, Israel/Egypt/Jordan, the Army/Navy Game, a California Road Trip and Scandinavia.
In regards to lost golf balls, I am not satisfied with the progress that I have made in getting more consistent at golf. While I have had a number of great holes in the last month, my game remains very uneven. I am reevaluating whether I want to stick with lessons at Golftec or go in a different direction.
My major disappointment has been progress on my book about 1991. While I have it started in Scrivener, I haven't found a rhythm for working on the book on a regular basis. I am going to try and starting working on the book at least a couple of times a week.
Ending on a positive note, we welcomed a new grandson in the last year!
