Sweetwater Trail

Taking advantage of the springlike weather, Sharon, Jack and I went to Lake Folsom and hiked the Sweetwater Trail. We covered 5.27 miles in about 2 hours and 16 minutes not including a stop for a picnic lunch on the shore. The hike exceeded both our expectations; the trail was very wooded with a number of streams coming down into the lake.

On the way back, we left the trail and hiked for a while along Sweetwater Creek. We were surprised to see a pair of bald eagles.
