Sharon and Janie took off for Tahoe. Sharon spent the afternoon taking a ski lesson at Squaw Valley with an instructor from Chile, while Janie worked. She noted that there seemed to be a lot of South Americans working at Squaw. They had dinner at Rosie's Cafe (Sharon said that she would not go back...) in Tahoe City and spent the night near Homewood.
