A number of new places to eat have opened in Elk Grove in the last year. Unfortunately, a lot of them serve uninspired food. The Black Horse is another place that we are not likely to have dinner at again soon; A list that already includes Islands and Paesesanos. The Black Horse's breakfast menu looked interesting and we may have to give that a try in the future.

Black Horse Pub & Grill
Tuesday night after Larkin's Farewell Party, I met Sharon and Jack at the Black Horse Pub & Grill in Elk Grove. Sharon was unimpressed with the breadth of the dinner menu and the quality of their hamburgers. I was pleased with the variety of beer on tap.
