We saw three bands at the The Living Room in New York City last night. Tom had wanted to see Crescent and Frost. They were pretty good; the lead singer reminded me a lot of Alison Krauss. The next act was technically very good with a strong lead guitarist and an interesting trumpet, but odd. It was billed as a comic rock band. The third act was just plain bad. They were covering a number of artist and doing it poorly. Rob and I joked that it was like Saturday Night Live where the skits got weaker the later it got.
