2007 A's versus Red Sox

Jack and I went to the Oakland A's versus Boston Red Sox baseball game. Tomasin put together the outing for Mike's birthday and we tagged along. The group tailgating in the parking lot before the game included five different families and more than twenty people.

The A's won the game by the score of 3 to 2. Bobby Crosby had a two-run single in Oakland's three-run fourth inning against knuckleballer Tim Wakefield. Chris Kennedy got the win. He allowed two runs and seven hits in seven innnings and was helped by three double plays started by third baseman Eric Chavez. The A's have taken the first three games of the series to extend their home winning streak against the Red Sox to seven.
