Today With Spring Here Finally

For the conference project for her sufi class ("reaching out to god: the history of sufi thought and practice"), Morgan is writing songs based on some poetry.

This one is a Coleman Barks "version" (called versions rather than translations because his versions are often not very close to the original) of a poem by Rumi (who lived in the 13th century). The Barks version is called "the whole place goes up," but Morgan calls it "today with spring here finally."

Kaila is singing the upper harmony part on the recording.

Depending on which browser you are running and which plugins you have, the embedded control may not show up. In that case, you can find the song here!
