Saturday afternoon, Sharon and Jack rushed home from the
Academic Decathlon. After getting cleaned up, we headed to the Sanborn's for a quick drink and some hors d'oeuvres. Leaving Jack with Tim,
Marlene, Philip, Sharon and I headed to SEAs dinner and silent and live auctions at the
Good Shepherd Parish Hall. With the church finished last March, this is the first year that the event has been held at Good Shepherd, rather than at the St. Joseph's Parish Hall.
The dinner and auction are one of the main fund raisers for Jack's school. It is the twelfth year that they have held the event and the ninth year that we have attended [
2004,
2005,
2006,
2007,
2008,
2009 and
2010].
I bid on one live auction item, but didn't win it. Sharon won a couple of silent auction items. We had a very nice evening.
