The Hugo is a slightly alcoholic aperitif, originating in South Tyrol, but widespread in Triveneto, Austria, Switzerland and Germany, based of prosecco, elderflower syrup (or lemon balm syrup), seltzer (or sparkling water) and mint leaves. Stir together over plenty of ice.
Sharon organized get together at the Deterding Ranch neighborhood pool on Friday evening. She made Hugos for everyone.
