Sharon and I spent the last half of the day at the Larkins. In October, the Larkins, Gainsleys, Leclaires and Heringers are traveling to Egypt and Jordan on a Viking tour and cruise. The Gainsleys and Heringers are doing a pre-tour in Isreal. We got everyone together ostensibly for trip planning. It also give the group a chance to get to know the Leclaires. Sharon and I met the Leclaires at the Gainsley Christmas Party.
With the temperature at 109, the group spent the afternoon lounging in the pool.
The Larkins served a nice dinner of filet mignon, red potatoes and brussel sprouts. Sharon made a nectarine and burrata salad.
