Neighborhood Cocktail Party

When we were at the Duisdale House in Sleat on the Isle of Skye, the bartender served a gin and tonic with a local gin, Mediterranean fever tree tonic and a slice of grapefruit. Sharon liked the gin so much that she ended up buying a bottle (Harris Gin) when we were doing our walk about in Inverness. I also found an importer in Los Angeles where I can order the gin.

While Sharon was at the neighborhood pool last week, she invited a group over for gin and tonics. We served the Gin Harris with the same tonic and a slice of grapefruit. The group included Mike and Jill, Tom and Judy and Jim and Debi. We shared a few pictures from our trip to England and Scotland. It was nice evening.

We finished the night watching the Rancho Cordova fireworks from the master bedroom balcony. They had a drone show at the beginning of the fireworks display; I don't remember them doing that before.
