We had Kevin, Donna and Sharon's brother Tom for dinner. God willing, the five of us are going to South Africa, Zimbabwe and Zambia in September. The purpose of the dinner was two fold: a chance for Donna and Kevin to meet Tom, and; to do some trip planning.
Donna and Kevin came early. With the temperature over 102, the four of us spent some time in the pool.
Before dinner, we served a gin and tonic with the Harris gin that Tom and I discovered on the Isle of Skye. We had barbecued chicken, asparagus and a farro salad.
