April 23 Coach Vern Hickey’s golf team bowed to Sacramento State in a duel match by the score of 20-7. The best score turned by the Aggies was by Howard Bennet, who turned an 81. Dave Sale shot an 83 for the second best of the day. In the singles matches Sacramento stroked to win every one except for one in which Dick Herringer downed Gary Bonnine 2 1/2 - 1/2.
