After getting cleaned up, a group went to Harlow's for breakfast. Carol found this restaurant a couple of years ago and we have been making it an annual stop ever since.
We headed to Phoenix Municipal Stadium to see the Giants play the A's.
The Giants won by a score of 8 to 4. Buster Posey, the Giants promising catcher, hit one home run, while Travis Ishikawa hit two home runs. The Giants turned a triple play in the eighth when Bobby Crosby grounded to third baseman Ryan Rohlinger. Matt Carson, who was running at second, went out of the baseline to avoid Rohlinger and was called out. Rohlinger then threw to second baseman Matt Downs, who relayed to first baseman Scott McClain to complete the triple play.
We had a big group for the game, including Bob, Carol, Kyle, Wallen, Palmer, Dennis, Jack, Drew, Jonathon, Moore, Geselbracht, Tomasin, Bachman, Snipes, Connor and I. Tomasin, Bachman, Snipes and Connor had all flown in that morning and showed up to the game in the second inning.
Drew had scheduled a date at a funky place in Scottsdale called Angel's Serenity. Wallen, Dennis, Palmer, Jack and I went to see him play. The Larkin's joined us. Drew and Jonathon played a nice set for about 15 people. The rest of the group spent an hour trying to find the place and showed up to see the last song.
By the time, we got a late bite to eat and I got Jack back to the hotel and to bed, it was after 11:00 p.m.
