In Sacramento, March 18, 2009. Born June 23, 1921 in Hammond, Indiana to Augustus ''Gus'' Ruff and Emma A. Walz, she was 87. Graduated from Catholic Central High in Hammond. Married June 27, 1942 to John H. ''Jack'' Frame, who predeceased her in 2006. Worked for the Dept. of Navy in Seattle from 1942 to 1952, ''retiring'' to take up the role of quintessential housewife and mother on the birth of her first child, Thomas, who was followed by Timothy and Sharon. Also survived by daughters-in-law, Rebecca and Catherine; son-in-law, Mark Heringer; and grandchildren, Kevin Frame, Eric Frame, Erin Frame, Eileen Frame and John ''Jack'' Heringer. A resident of Sacramento (River Park area) since 1958, longtime parishioner of St. Mary's Church and also most recently of St. Ignatius Church. Friends are invited to attend a Rosary Service at W.F. GORMLEY & SONS CHAPEL, 2015 Capitol Avenue, Thursday at 7:00pm. Friends are also invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be offered for the repose of her soul at St. Ignatius Church, 3235 Arden Way, Friday at 10:00am.
