With a lot going on at work, I was up early and was on conference calls from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m., 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and then 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Everyone else had early morning flights home between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. and were headed to the airport before I even got up.
Jack and I got cleaned up and packed up. Saying goodbye to Drew and Jonathon, we headed to the airport. We made one stop at a waymark near the airport.
We had a light lunch at Chili's in the Sky Harbor Airport. Afterwards, we boarded a flight to Sacramento and had an uneventful trip back to Sacramento.
I ended up taking Jack to baseball practice for his rec team and then briefly to what will be his last cub scout meeting. All of this turned out to be a huge mistake, but that is a story for some other day...
