The SEAS Eagles played their first league game of the season. SEAS is hosting the Southern Division of the Parochial Athletic League in their new gym. I went early and watched one of Jack's Outlaws teammates [Cooper] play for St. Patricks against Holy Rosary.
The Eagles rebounded better than their first game last Sunday; they ended up with 7 offensive and 15 defensive rebounds compared to about 11 total rebounds in Sunday's game. Nevertheless, they continue to turn the ball over at an astonishing return. The Eagles had 27 turnovers in a 28 minute game. The difference in the game was Joe; he went 6 for 7 from 2 point range, 1 for 3 from 3 point range and 1 for 8 from the free throw line for 16 points.
Jack played 6 minutes of the 28 minute game. He had a rebound, a steal and two turnovers. Jack did not take a shot.
In a very close game for most of the second half, the Eagles beat St. Roberts by the score of 36 to 34. The box score is here.
The SEAS Eagles now have 1 win and 1 loss for the season. The game log is here.
