Unfortunately, the day went in some unplanned directions...
Sharon, Jack and I finished the day watching John Wick. This has been on my AppleTV wish list for some time. Bill Simmons et al have talked about the movie and its sequels on his podcast off and on over the last year.
John Wick is a 2014 American neo-noir action thriller film. It stars Keanu Reeves, Michael Nyqvist, Alfie Allen [Theon Grayly in Game of Thrones], Adrianne Palicki, Bridget Moynahan, Dean Winters, Ian McShane, John Leguizamo, and Willem Dafoe. Reeves plays a retired hitman.
It is the first installment in the John Wick film series. Two sequels, John Wick: Chapter 2, and John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum, were released on February 2017 and May 2019 respectively.
I think that we all enjoyed the movie. It is a nonstop violent action movie. I recommend it as a mindless distraction...
