In the early afternoon, Sharon caught a Southwest Flight from Sacramento to Burbank. She is spending a couple of days in Southern California visiting Mary Maloney. Mary is spending a couple of weeks in Pasadena with a friend. Mary and Sharon finished the day with a bad Italian dinner.
I finished the day watching Miami Vice. After the movie was over, I watched all four overtimes in the Denver versus Portland NBA Western Conference second round playoff game. It was just the second quadruple-overtime playoff game in NBA history, joining a 1953 game between the Boston Celtics and the Syracuse Nationals. Portland won the game by the score of 140 to 137.
