For the second year in a row, we decorated the house for Christmas on the weekend before Thanksgiving rather the weekend after. Unfortunately, unlike last year, I didn't stage all of the boxes ahead of time. I spent the weekend shuttling boxes back and forth to the storage shed as well as working to decorate the house. As a result, it seemed like we didn't get quite as much done over the weekend as I would have liked. There is still some work to be done both inside and outside, particularly the back decks.
Decorating the weekend before Thanksgiving is going to be the new normal. [Note to self], I need to stage the Fall and Christmas boxes before the weekend.
