Late Saturday afternoon, Sharon and I went to her nephew Eric's house to watch the Notre Dame versus BYU game. The group included: Tom; Eric; Kevin, Leah, Lydia and Amelia; Jim; Eric's Friend Bailey; and Sharon and me. I continue to be fascinated and a little dumbfounded by how passionate Sharon's family is about Notre Dame...
Tom and Eric served chicken pot pie for dinner.
BYU won the game by the score of 28 to 24. Notre Dame drove to the 8 yard line at the end of the game, but the Carr's final throw into the end zone was incomplete.
There was an odd play at the end of the first half. The Irish drove to the BYU 5 in the final seconds of the first half. Tryinng to spike the ball, Carr was called for fumble. BYU pounced on the ball to help the Cougars maintain a two-score lead going into the locker room.
