Teotihuacán

We finished the day watching a Digging for the Truth episode about Teotihuacán. Called the City of the Gods, it is home to the world's third largest pyramid. This mysterious city was once a metropolis of 150,000 to 200,000 covering 11 1/2 square miles. It was many times larger and more populous than the biggest Mayan and Aztecan cities ever built.

While Sharon, Jack, Drew and I went to Chichen Itza and Tulum, I had never even heard of Teotihuacán. East of Mexico City, I have added it to my list of places that I would like to see some day!
