NBA Power Rankings 2008-2009 Week 4

The Kings climbed one spot in Marc Stein's weekly power rankings of NBA teams from 26th to 25th, stepping over the fetid body of a gizzly bear.

We've tried to show some rare restraint with the Bobby Brown mentions. But with Martin still out and Bobby doing Fullerton proud with 21 points in 25 minutes in a homecoming against the Lakers, there's no avoiding it.
When Martin went down two weeks ago, the Kings had 3 wins and 4 losses and were winners of three straight. In those three victories, Martin averaged 28.7 points per game. Since then, the team has won 2 games and lost 6.

Last year, Martin only played in 61 games for the Kings. Given that he only weighs 185 pounds soaking wet, it is going to be interesting to see if Martin can stay healthy and on the court.
