I had hoped to spend the long holiday weekend at Sea Ranch, but that fell through. I was also hoping to disconnect from work and day-to-day household chores. Unfortunately, this didn't quite work out. Just as I rolled out of bed in the morning, I got pulled into a work Teams meeting. A scheduled network change wasn't going as planned.
Sharon and I spent the rest of day relaxing. We facetimed with Drew and Carmen in the afternoon. Drew said that he got me a new daugther-in-law for my birthday...
For dinner, I barbecued a couple of filet mignons. Sharon cooked some brussel sprouts in her air fryer. We added a couple of baked potatoes. For dessert, Sharon made german chocolate cake.
For presents, Sharon gave me some tickets to ses Bill Maher at the Hard Rock Live, some golf pants and an offer to wash my car once a month until I retire (a service).
