Afterwards, we had dinner at the Casa East Sac. They have started a second Tuesday Chefs Dinner with a fixed menu and a wine pairing. We had a nice evening. We talked about trying to go next month with a group of neighbors.

Date Night
Sharon planned a date night; I didn't know where we were going. We stopped at McKinley Park and walked around the pond, into the library and by the rose garden. The Sacramento Street Railway Company built the park in 1871 to attract passengers to its line.
Afterwards, we had dinner at the Casa East Sac. They have started a second Tuesday Chefs Dinner with a fixed menu and a wine pairing. We had a nice evening. We talked about trying to go next month with a group of neighbors.
I have to admit that one of the things that I like most about retirement is not having to think about getting up at 5:20 am and going to work after a night out on Tuesday!
