Sutter Health has moved aggressively to deploy technology over the last six years to cut costs and improve patient safety. Plans for the next ten years are even more ambitious. The short article in today's Sacramento Bee titled Tech upgrade at Sutter notes that Sutter Health will spend $1.2 billion over the next 10 years to improve medical and administrative technologies at its hospitals.
