Over the last month, I have started to cross train by riding my bike once a week. I have riden my bike once a week in three of the last four weeks. I got up early this morning and went out before work. I rode 18.1 miles with an average speed of 16.9 miles per hour. The Garmin Forerunner 201 has a setting for biking that displays your speed rather than your pace (miles per hour rather than minutes per mile). I have ordered a couple of bike mounts for the Garmin from Amazon.com so that Sharon and I can both use it on our bikes.
