I spent most of the day at the Samuel Merritt College in Oakland attending the TIG Meeting. TIG includes technical IT staff from each of the affiliates. The agenda included: a RLAN case Study; Server Consolidation; Enterprise Single Sign-on Update; Wireless Network Standard Update; Security Issues, and; Technology Roundtable.
After the meeting, I wandered home through the Caldecott Tunnel into Concord, across State Route 242 towards Highway 4 and into Antioch, across the Antioch Bridge using my Fastrak pass, east on highway 12 to I-5 and finally up I-5 to Elk Grove.
