Walking with Dinosaurs - The Live Experience

Braving the weather, Sharon, Jack and I went to Walking with Dinosaurs, The Live Experience. The show runs almost two hours with two 45 minute plus acts and an intermission.

Jack was not particularly excited about the idea, but warmed up once the show started. I am very impressed with the live sized dinosaur "puppets." The dinosaurs in the show included: Ankylosaurus, Ornithocheirus, Liliensternus, Utahraptor, Stegosaurus, Torosaurus, Plateosaurus, Allosaurus, Tyrannosaurus-Rex, a baby T-Rex, and Brachiosaurus.

The size of the brachiosaurus was amazing. It was more 40 feet tall and almost 70 feet long. At one point near the end of the show, they had an adult Brachiosaurus, an adolescent Brachiosaurus, a Tyrannosaurus-Rex and a baby T-Rex all on the stage. They suggest that the Brachiosaurus was a herd animal. It is hard to imagine what even a small of herd of them would look like or how much they would eat.
