I was originally hoping to get to Spain this summer, but for a number of reasons, my efforts failed. Originally, Sharon and her brother were attempting to plan an Alaskan Cruise for the three families and their mother. While Sharon and I both enjoy traveling, the one thing that we have never done is a cruise. Frankly, the idea of a cruise has never really appealed to me. The one cruise that has peaked my interest in the past was the Alaskan cruise. When the plans for the Frame Family Cruise fell through, we had already done a great deal of research and decided to do it ourselves.
Sharon, Jack and I are sailing at 4:30 p.m. this afternoon on the Diamond Princess from Vancouver, Canada for a 12 day cruise and land tour of Alaska.
