2009 East Coast Trip - Day 10 - Downingtown

Up fairly late, we went to Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral.

The plan for the day is to travel to Bernard and Pat's house. We were packed up, out of the room and loaded into the car about noon. Even with the GPS, it took me a number of tries to get into the Holland Tunnel and out of New York City. Although I originally thought it was only about an hour from New York City to Philadelphia, it turned out to be about a 2 hour and 45 minute drive with traffic and stops.

We spent the rest of the day hanging out at Bernard and Pat's house in Downingtown. We visited, walked through the neighborhood, sat in the backyard and had a great late dinner outside.

The rough plan for tomorrow is to visit Philadelphia.
